Bootcamps are popping up throughout the UK and it’s an easy way to fit some functional fitness into your week and get moving. You might want to bring a friend or make some new ones either way it’s worth calling or googling your local bootcamp and having a go, how bad could it be?!
The great thing about bootcamp is there are not normally monthy fees. It’s just pay as often as you want to go making it a great option if you travel a lot or end up with sick small ones.
I have a fantastic bootcamp. My friend Hayley booked me in 6:30am one Monday morning and I have loved it ever since, after the 2nd session that is (the first was horrid and made me feel well unfit!).
We have a fantastic Personal trainer Richard that takes us through our paces and he’s always changing the games & exercises so we never know what’s coming up next. This bootcamp is called Velocity Fitness
and has a studio where we train anything from Box jumps to pull ups to balls games. Today’s session was outside with ropes, stair climbs, push ups and squats. A great way to work out with a group to make you push yourself that little bit harder.
I normally train at 6:30am. I prefer to workout in the morning it kick starts your day and metabolism and leaves the rest of the day free for whatever you like.
