Why do Bikram yoga? Loads of reasons. For one it’s quite euphoric the feeling you get when you have completed the class which is what makes you come back and want to do it all over again. Bikram Yoga is in 40 degree heat has 26 postures, 2 breathing exercises all in 90 minutes. The most challenging and effective yoga class in the world.
Bikram is 26 Hatha Yoga posture sequences selected and developed by Bikram Choudhury. The 26 postures systematically work every part of the body, to give the internal organs, the veins, the ligaments and the muscles everything they need to maintain optimum health and maximum function. Each component takes care of something different in the body, yet they all work together in synergy.
There is a huge list of health benefits including enhanced flexibility, regulating weight and metabolism, successful recovery from injury (due to deep stretching), and the endless flushing of toxins due to increased perspiration.
Thank you Suzanne and Natalie & Bikram Yoga Bournemouth for having us. xx
